maybelline spring 2013 fashion week color sensational gloss in fiercely fuschia.

Oh my goodness I adore this color! You need this..now! What a gorgeous fuchsia and extremely wearable. This coverage is sheer to medium and the gloss itself is silky and moisturizing. The color reminds me of the shade Jouer produced for Birch Box but it's much warmer and more flattering for warm skin tones  I like this so much I'm buying a back-up tomorrow. And on to pictures..

See how it doesn't look crazy or neon? It's not too bright and I adore it. Yay for a random, awesome score!!

maybelline limited edition spring 2013 fashion week blush swatches.

So I randomly walked into my Walgreen's to grab polish remover and, out of nowhere, the Maybelline Spring 2013 Fashion Week display was up! Squee!! I first saw this on http://nouveaucheap.blogspot.com/2013/02/spotted-maybelline-limited-edition.html and was so excited. I hunted down the same blushes last year so, of course, I grabbed all three.

l'oreal colour riche caresse wet shine stain in endless red.

L'Oreal Colour Riche Caresse Wet Shine Stain in Endless Red (190)..quite the mouthful no? This is marketed as a moisturizing, long-lasting stain gloss. Cool idea and cool product but I wouldn't call this a gloss. It is shiny upon application but that wears of quickly leaving a sheer to medium coverage stain behind. The good news? I did find it moisturizing and that is rare with stains. I loved this color and I do want to try others from the line and see how they stack up pigment wise.
   Ok onto swatches...

mac stereo rose msf vs. milani rose d' oro.

So when I orignally posted about Milani's baked blush in Rose d' Oro I had mentioned it may be a dupe for the infamous MAC Mineralize Skin Finish in Stereo Rose. At the time I didn't have the latter but when it was re-released in the Apres Chic collection, naturally, I pounced on it. So are they dupes?

wet and wild fergie collection to reflect shimmer palette review.

How excited was I to see Wet&Wild come out with this collection? And oooh there are giant highlighter palettes that look a little like MAC MSF powders! Could this be a cheaper dupe?!

bare minerals ready eyeshadow 8.0 in the star treatment.

Bare Minerals has long been a brand that flew under my radar...well ok that's not correct. I actually ignored it with prejudice. Years ago I fell for the powder foundation infomercial and ran out to buy the products..hoping these natural little miracles would not only conceal my horrid teenage skin but heal it as well. Oh and when they said I could sleep in it..SOLD! I'm uber lazy.
Yeah well my dreams were dashed when my lack of application prowess turned my skin into 18 going on 80. It was awful and I returned the products the next day. Needless to say I have had zero interest in mineral products since then but what can I say? Unfair? Yeah probably but I'm trying to branch out...In comes Bare Minerals pressed eyeshadow. Yeah yeah it's pressed and doesn't count but it's a start right? And goodness are these little gems are pretty...
Wow. So, so pretty. Buttery, smooth, pigmented...long lasting. I could keep going but long story short you really need to check these pressed palettes out. I bought The Star Treatment for the shade Bragging Rights and I adore it however, shockingly, Kudos turned out to be my fave. It a pretty taupe with a green shift...love it!

The palette is very warm and just gorgeous..the shades, I feel, all perform on the same level and there isn't a one in the bunch I can't wear. That for me equals value because I hate buying palettes and not using some shades. I got this at Sephora on sale so hopefully it isn't being discontinued. I'd say rush off and find it or check out their other shadow palettes..I honestly don't think they should be missed.

maybelline color sensational vivid lipstick swatches and review.

These. are. gorgeous. I remember growing up the best you could get, makeup wise, from a drugstore was muted lip colors, hideous chalky eyeshadow and foundation that looked like Benadryl. Of course things have come a long way but these lipstick shades have me beyond impressed. The vibrancy, brightness..the bold, hard to wear colors. WTF Maybelline...why have you been holding out??

Wow I just realized Vibrant Mandarin is upside down..Sorry!!
