Hello! I haven't blogged in forever..the holidays combined with a hectic move resulted in a lost camera and no free time. So let me apologize in advance if my photos aren't quite up to par. I'm looking for the best light in the new apartment and I can't quite find it...thinking I may toy with a light box in the near future. If you have any suggestions please let me know. Anyway on to my newest find (not new to the blogosphere however). I introduce to you the Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain...bit of a mouthful no?
The shade I purchased is Romantic. Let me tell you this is something I didn't know I was looking for until I found it. I am obsessed with sheer reds...so obsessed I've actually mixed a multitude of products in my microwave to make my own.
Does anyone remember the BlueQ Slut/Virgin soap and lip balm kit? If you do and you know where to find it you must tell me. The slut lip balm became an early HG for me and then disappeared into oblivion without my permission. Don't you hate that?! Anyway I spend way too much time trying to find an approximation...so does Romantic fit the bill?
Sadly no but it is pretty awesome...I adore it's staining abilities! It applies very smooth as a sheer cherry and can be built up a few shades deeper. What I love so much about this is I can swipe it on, blot, cover with balm and have the perfect long-lasting "born with it red lip". I kinda strive for that snow white perfect and this gives me about 4 hours of natural awesome. You could also just stash it in your purse for a pretty, deep, red glossy stain. Yeah either way there is no losing with this one.
