lines of demarcation.

Have you ever gotten ready at home possibly trying out an awesome new foundation that an SA kindly gave you? Did you leave the house thinking you looked great? I did today...until I was getting out of my car to go to work. I flipped the visor down to check my lipstick and "Damnit! I look like an Oompa Loompa again!" Nothing I could do but furiously rub the line separating my chin from my neck and hope people would think I had a tan. Clearly, I need new bathroom lighting.

Besides being matched incorrectly I have to say I love Guerlain's Lingerie de Peau foundation.

Guerlain's website describes it as "Lingerie de Peau is a foundation in such perfect osmosis with the skin that it glides on like an extremely fine silk stocking. As invisible to the eye as to the touch, it fuses with the skin like an imperceptible second skin. Impalpable and secret, this shapely, silken veil renders the complexion sublime without artifice."

I was matched to Beige Naturel 03 which is the second lightest shade I believe. This is surprising to find it too dark as my skin tone normally falls in the middle of shade ranges (I'm an NW25 for reference).  I found this foundation to have a great slip and despite more sheer, it covered my imperfections and redness flawlessly.
I buffed it in with a Real Technique's domed foundation brush and it set in fairly quickly leaving a luminous sheen. It didn't sink into any fine lines nor did it appear cakey. And it has SPF 20 which doesn't turn whitish on the skin. Honestly, I love it! I will post tonight when I get home with it's wear time and swatches.
Lingerie de Peau is $58.00 for 1 oz. on Dillards.com however Guerlain's website has a larger shade selection.
