maybelline LE color plush quad in cozy cashmere. review and swatches.

Here is the second quad I picked up alongside Olive Martini at Walgreens. Again, the Maybelline Scene on the Runway display may be hard to find but these two quads are worth looking for.

Yet another gorgeous fall/winter quad and a great drugstore buy. I don't ordinarily bother with Maybelline shadows however online swatches convinced me otherwise. I kinda adore these color plush quads..I intend to pick up more from the permanent collection.
The first three colors here are creamy and pigmented..much higher quality than I expected. The last shade is lacking in pigment however it has proved decent for blending out edges.

The first shimmery, champagne shade makes a great brow and lid highlight. I'm not going to pretend like there aren't a ton of dupes for this but it is still quite lovely.

The second shade has become a fave of mine for defining a crease. Such a pretty golden, reddish brown for fall. Paired alongside the third rusty brown shade..the quad honestly becomes unique. I think this is warm, reddish tones done right...not ones that give that glamorous pink-eye look. The last shade is a dusty warm brown with medium pigment. Too make up for that I sweep it one before the second shade in the crease and it diffuses the latter's pigmented edges. I like it surprisingly.

Another must grab before it's gone quad..check your local drugstore and happy hunting!
