So if you can't tell by now I adore a pretty red lipstick and this Milani Lip Flash gloss pencil is no exception. In fact I love it so much I bought back-ups. Milani's website describes these as "The electric lip look is defined with highly pigmented flashy shimmer colors. Create news worthy lips with extra glossy, high color coverage and moisture rich ingredients. A sharpenable, easy to use, anti-feathering and nontacky lip gloss pencil."
I would agree..this pencil was moderately glossy, highly pigmented and smooth. And the wear time...don't know if it's because it's red or what but it stuck around for the long haul. The gloss wears of but it leaves behind a pigmented stain for hours. This pencil is awesome.
I've seen these compared to Urban Decay's Super Saturated High-Gloss pencils and they certainly look similar but I don't own both so I can't comment. What I can comment on however is the gorgeous color that is hot flash. It's a warm deep red with slight golden shimmer that makes it appear metallic. Now honestly I hate metallic finishes with a passion but this one won me over. See for yourself
This color is just wicked..not too vampy or retro it's just a beautiful red. You probably (definitely) need to get this for your stash.
